  Membership

Becoming a member of IAN is the best way to become a better interpreter an to keep up with new ideas in environmental education.  Membership allows you to register for IAN workshops and gets you involved in a dynamic professional natural interpreters association.  Members also receive The Web, IAN’s newsletter, via e-mail.

IAN workshops are held three times a year. Fall (November) and spring (March) workshops are held Thursday – Friday noon, with an occasionally pre-workshop event or training on Wednesday. In addition to providing educational sessions, the workshops also provide ample opportunity to network, share ideas, and ask questions.

New IAN members will also be paired with a mentor who will help the new member become familiar with the organization as well as other opportunities and resources in the state. The mentor will also serve as a guide to the new naturalist.

Dues are $20 per year, or $10 for full time students.
