IAN Scholarships
IAN has established a scholarship program to help defer the costs of workshops and increase professional development. These scholarships are available to all current members whose attendance would otherwise be limited due to financial restrictions.
This scholarship is a reimbursement and applicants can be awarded up to $150. Recipients must verify with a copy of the workshop receipt to itemize how funds are applied toward registration and accompanied meals. Funds are not to be applied toward payment of college credit, membership fees, or any travel expenses.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:
- Applicants must be an IAN member.
- Student applicants must provide a signature endorsement from a Guidance Counselor/Natural Resource Professional/Advisor/Professor.
- Applicants must state career goals.
- Selection of the recipients is based on the applicant's ability to explain the relevancy of the workshop to their career/professional goals.
The application deadline is 30 days prior to the start of the scheduled workshop. The Scholarship Committee will make its decision and notify the applicants no later than 15 days prior to the start of the workshop.
